August 2011: Holy Joe's Cafe - Mark Allison who is a Command Chaplain needed assistance with supplies to care for the wounded warriors in Afghanistan. Collected 4 huge boxes of supplies and mailed to him!!
June 2011: Women's Pregnancy Center Collection: Handed out baby bottles to fill with change and collected over $1,200 for the center!! Vicki was overwhelmed with FBC's generous donation!

December 2010: International Missions Lottie Moon Christmas Offering: Goal $5,000 (Collected $5248!!!)
November 2010: Operation Christmas Child! 64 boxes went to Haiti (India last year).
October: World Crafts Party - tasted dishes that are specialties all over the world. Ordered over $600 that will go directly to the artisians in those countries that made the crafts.

August 2010: Christmas in August following the Evening Worship Service. Please bring a finger food and money to donate for gift cards to purchase bicycles.
Update: $770 dollars was collected and sent to Mr. Joseph Pardo from Tampa Florida. He is the head of Friends of Internationals which is an on-campus ministry at the University of South Florida. They meet international students as they arrive in the US and offer them free English classes, rides to church and Bible studies. One of the items he is requesting is bicycles. This gift from our church will allow him to purchase 10 adult bikes! Thank you everyone for your generous donations!
August 2010: Ladies Tea! Mrs. Sue Johns from the FL Baptist Convention delivered a message on 'Gods Amazing Grace for Women' while the little ladies enjoyed painting their very own tea sets.
September 2009: 'A Sweet Treat' - chocolate tasting party!!
A special thank you to all of those that helped with and came to the chocolate - sweet treat WMM event. We had over 30 participants and had a great time tasting some of the best and some of the worst! chocolates together. We even had 2 brave youth boys come (in wigs no less!)
Christmas in August
Thank you for your generous donations to our Christmas in August Mission Event! The Children enjoyed decorating the tree and counting the items brought in each week. With your help we collected: 9 notebooks, 8 packs of pens, 4 blank CDs, 10 tubes of toothpaste, 12 toothbrushes, 4 bars of soap, 2 bottles of lotion, 1 bottle of shampoo, 2 sticks of deodorant, 4 packs of razors, 10 combs and a total of 45.92 which purchased 10 bibles! These items will aide Mr. Bob Loy in the continued ministry to seafarers, private shipyards, Jacksonville International Airport and the trucking industry.
